The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has released the Pre-Admission Notice for the 2025-26 academic session, inviting applications from the wards of insured persons (IPs) for MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc Nursing courses across ESIC-run and affiliated institutions in India.

This announcement is critical for candidates seeking medical education under ESIC’s specialized admission quota. The seat matrix, eligibility criteria, and application process have been outlined in detail by the authorities.

🏥 ESIC Seat Allocation for 2025-26

A total of 466 MBBS seats, 28 BDS seats, and 60 B.Sc Nursing seats have been allocated for the upcoming academic session.

*Colleges marked with an asterisk are now under state government management but continue contributing seats under ESIC’s MoU framework.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply under this quota, candidates must:

• Qualify NEET-UG 2025

• Be a Ward of an Insured Person as per the ESI Act, 1948, on or before 30th September 2024

• Hold a valid ‘Ward of IP’ certificate

• Male dependents must be ≤21 years old as of 10th April 2025

• No age limit for unmarried female dependents

• Comply with reservation norms as per Central Government guidelines

📝 Application & Counseling Process

Step 1: Obtain ‘Ward of IP’ Certificate

• Apply online at: www.esic.gov.in

• Use registered mobile number of the insured person to log in and apply.

Step 2: Register for MCC Counseling

• Visit: www.mcc.nic.in

• Select the category “Seats allocated for wards of insured persons (IPs)”

Step 3: Participate in Seat Allotment

• Based on NEET UG 2025 AIR and preferences

• Centralized online counseling will be conducted by DGHS
